I would definately agree that the lyrics are their best..... They set the scene and the mood perfectly.... 'An indigo moonlit bay' and 'Bring me peach and peacock til I burst'.....superb writing!

Masterpiece ?
Geeez , how do you rate a band like this , They are without a doubt the foremost modern day classical composers , nobody even compares , yes is a close second but ELP was light years ahead

I like Trilogy and Karn Evil 9 especially the third impression, but I go back to this song because they seem to hit the great lyrics well. They really catch the Pirate mood. I especially like the music and lyrics when they go into "anchored in a indigo bay" - the music completely matches the great lyric.
